Day 2 of my short 3 day trip 😊 only a 70k ride today, but with a 300m steep climb at the end. Followed the pacific coast north, to the beautiful old gold mining town Jiufen. With 28 degrees it was a lot warmer today than it was yesterday, but managed myself well. During the climb I was very grateful for an overcast sky though. Scenery was great, following a stream up and passing “the golden waterfall”. And at the end of the day I was rewarded with a cozy room in a homestay with a proper view 😊 And this little town is absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere!
